Queen's Birthday honour to alumnus Graeme Hugo

Professor Graeme Hugo has been recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honours List. He has been made an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for distinguished service to population research, particularly the study of international migration, population geography and mobility, and through leadership roles with national and international organisations.

Professor Hugo graduated in 1976 with a PhD from the Department of Demography (now ADSRI). He is the Director of the Australian Population and Migration Research Centre at The University of Adelaide.
